Few colleges have the fan base and loyalty of the University of Texas, and the 2009 Longhorns, 13-0 in the regular season, produced as strong a national following as any Texas team in the past, culminating in their appearance in the BCS Citi National Championship Game on January 7, 2010, before millions of viewers on ABC TV.  The game featured superstar quarterback Colt McCoy and was played at the historic Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena, where fresh sod was laid on the field for only one game.  At the conclusion of the game, the Texas end zone was removed and cut into 3” x 3” squares, freeze-dried for permanent preservation, and encased in a handsome display case.  Your case includes a photo from the end zone during the game and a description of the event.  This unique collectible is from the Texas Longhorn painted end zone featuring the word Texas. The fully assembled display case is 4 ¾” x 4 ¾” x 5 ¼”, and also includes an Officially Licensed Product hologram from CLC, along with relevant highlights and statistics about the game.
